Dr. Lanier has comprehensive experience working on sports injuries, Including his own Life. Born with a structural short leg of 1 Inch. This means one leg measures 1 inch shorter than the other leg. More common is a functional short leg. This type of imbalance is is developed through dysfunctional mechanics of the spine and muscular system. An example is Diabetes, one type you can be born with (structural) and the other is developed (functional). When we evaluate we will check for balance front - back and and left - right.

By diving deeper into Dr. Lanier's own physical condition and limitations. It has allowed him to understand how to a manage his own structural condition. It wasn't until he became a chiropractor that he understood why running caused muscle spasm in leg, or unexplained shoulder pain or unexplained headaches. Countless Doctor visits through child hood did not produce answers or results. Dr. Lanier a very active 50 year old running, biking, snowboarding, surfing, weight training and all with out limitations or pain. It is this experience and knowledge gained since 2002 that Dr. Lanier uses when helping his patents regain their activity and improve their performance in sports, work and life.
